Ten years of joyous Finnish-Beninise afrobeat, and the fifth album of this ensemble marks a return to the roots. Similarly to previous albums, the new record has been recorded on two continents: the vocalist and percussionist Noël Saïzonou recorded his parts in Comé, Benin, and the rest of the band worked in Helsinki under expert percussionist Abdissa Assefa. The themes of the album focus on the unpredictable nature of human life and an individual’s opportunities of affecting their own future.
